Hi CGN,
I have had my winchester camp defender for 10 years and its been my bush gun. I have noticed that it always jams with Remington Trap ammo.
What happens is that when pumped, 2 rounds come out of the magazine, which ends up totall jamming the gun. If its a SHTF situation (i.e. predator incoming, then I will get ####ed 7 eaten.
If the gun is so picky abojut ammo I will have to do trials with brands of ammo to find some that works. This would be a PITA and I rather get another gun.
Is this something common about those guns? Can it be fixed? Should I not trust that gun anymore? Get something else?
I am thinking to replace it with a Baikal side by side coach. Or maybe a Rem 870, but I wonder if a pump is really a good idea over a side by side (which should never jam) for SHTF.
Thanks
Teac
