i recently found a nice 1892 WInchester in 25-20 with the 24" octogonal barrel.
Bluing is almost perfect,i thought it might have been refinished,but the lines on the barrel are perfectly crisp as are all the marking,but the biggest clue is the bore,it's nice and shinny,lots of riffling,no dark area,most of these almost always have dark bores,i'm trying to figure out approximate value for this thing,there doesn't seem to be that many in this great shape,
