I've just had a flat of Winchester Target ammo donated to our club for our annual banquet/fundraiser.Seeing as how we don't sell these shells at our club,I have no idea what a flat is worth. Can anybody tell me you would expect to pay for a flat of AA shells?I live in British Columbia if it makes any difference.

Winchester AAs are above the rest as are rem. premiers and fed. gold Medals, todays prices will be $75/flat or more, as are the 2 other mentioned. i saw them at WSS for $76/flat.

With the price of shot at $20 U.S. and $26 cdn a 25 lb. bag factory flats should "eventually" get cheaper.

Good luck finding any Gold Medal shells in Canada! My test report for ClayshootingUSA has the AA 2 3/4 dram and extra lights as the best patterning shells in Canada! An English shell came close. Previously, the Gold Medal paper extra lights where the best. They are no longer available because everyone in Canada wants the cheapest shell available. You do get what you pay for! Input cheap $$ and you get junk!

BTW last month in Connecticut a flat of 1 Oz AA was $80USD, tax in! And I did buy some!

Best regards,
Henry;)
