There are so many commemorative Winchesters out there. thousands made in every name and event that comes along. To me they are just an engraved shooter, not worth anymore than the regular issues. I have one Lone Star that has depreciated in price as many more have appeared from the woodwork. It is unfired as of yet, but what a beautiful gun to take out deerhunting. So off it goes tomorrow for its maiden hunt. Just like it was meant to do, be shot and admired for what it is ...a superb rifle...not a wall hanger/profit maker....
