When I did win warranty work back in the day I did 100’ s as well .
Never came across a 100 that had it happen the only reason it is a issue at all because on the USA side it is a liability thing .
Here is a heads up for all you people with safety concerns
Win model 12
Win model 97
Win model 94
And many other will do the same thing the firing pin is taped so that it will not come out the front of the bolt what happens if it is broken is that it jams in the hole you close the bolt and it will fire with out pulling the trigger. It may even fire before the bolt is closed when the cartridge slides up against the bolt face .
I have seen happen on a model 12 and a 94 that being said fired on the closing of the bolt not on the feeding of the cartridge this was actually a design of the gun so that your gun would work with a broken firming pin
