Anyone with all original, excellent condition, one owner, low round count, 12 gauge Winchester Model 12s willing to sell the gun in the above price range please PM me. Even for least desirable model, a plain barrel, full choke model in that condition it would be a more than fair price for me. These were guns that were used and finding one in original condition isn't common and they aren't making them any more.Depending on Condition I say it is worth $200.00 to $350.00 Max..................
The solid rib, barrel length and choke make it more desirable than the 30" full choke guns that are most common. It is less desirable than a gun with an IC choke, vent rib, one of the various target models or the smaller gauges. This Model 12 12.ga has a 28" non vented rib and modified choke and was bought in the mid 50"s new by my father and used only once for bird hunting.
No problem. Differ as much as you like. But how about you put your own valuation on this gun?I beg to differ that the broader forstock adds value to the model 12. This signifies a newer production year and i would think an older model in this condition would be worth more! As for our american friends i see more nice model 12s for sale @ gander mountain for a lot less than they are in Canada. I just wish I could buy in the states and bring them home.
