Yes I suppose I am in the minority these days. Too bad though.
i'm with you brother, i know they have a place , but i cant stand to look at a plastic/ polymer gun of any sort be it handgun shotgun or rifle.

Ithaca has tried to make a quality American made gun again but no one will pay 1200-1600$ for a pump gun . Heck people won't even pay $1000 for a new wingmaster .Its s Crap is king world but they are all over the junk and even brag about it . Remington express
They do, look at the new Ithaca Model 37’s. But most people just complain that they wont pay that much for a pump, and yet spend 2k+ on a plastic BenelliNice mod42 . Hope you enjoy. Congratulations.
Sure would be nice to see the American gunmakers return to manufacturing the quality of guns they did back in their heyday. It’s easy to forget just how good a quality gun they used to produce.

Just curious from those that have owned these guns and shot them a fair amount. Both my dad and especially my grandfather loved the winchesters back in the day which is why I still have some of the better ones like SX1, model 21, 12 etc but he never kept a model 42. Did buy one for sure but traded it in
I remember them saying they had ejection issues so he used an old 1148 I think for his skeet gun which is why I think there is one in my pile
Now I don't own a 42 of my own so never really got the opportunity to shoot them that I can remember
That being said I did buy one actually two ( one to save) of the browning 42 clones when they came out and that thing works flawless
Your feedback please
Cheers
