Sure would be nice to see the American gunmakers return to manufacturing the quality of guns they did back in their heyday. It’s easy to forget just how good a quality gun they used to produce.

Unfortunately almost no one will pay what it would cost today . It is a disposable world now in just about everything

That is a nice 42 congrats
Everytime I see a 42 which is not too often any more I think of this guy. How cool IMO

That fellow just announced on another shotgun forum that he "has lost interest" in the 42 and will be putting the collection up for sale. It was a lifetime collection of guns and other Winchester Memorabilia. Seems odd to lose interest but maybe he realized the .410 is not good for much except Skeet class and very small game.:rolleyes:

I would say maybe like all of us Darryl getting to an age where it is time to move on. I can just imagine what it is worth
I like the 410 for it's ability to humble a man. Yes sir anytime I thought I could shoot I would grab the 410 for a while and see nope I still suck LOL

Larry has quite an impress collection of M42's. . His store front display is something else. . Yes he did mention having some thoughts on selling his collection but still showing interest in further purchases. I'd be surprised if he did decide to sell the collection and highly doubt it would be from a lack of interest.
