Here is a couple pics of some more ammo:

All of this is 200 grain silvertip, except the neat old tattered Grizzly Box which is 250 grain. IIRC, I think I also have 20 loose 200 grain Winchester Superspeed, but they are not silvertip. All came from the same box and are clean ammo, just that that box got destroyed. If anyone is interested in them, let me know. I would be but have so much silvertip, that is what I have decided to stick with.

Yep on the footy prints.
I really hate seeing those out in the bush.
Specially when you can actually smell the grizzly tracks.
Makes the hair on my neck stand out.
Thanks for sharing the photos.
Looky.

Good luck on the moose draw, I packed my 348 last fall and it was like stepping back in history. Although handicapped compared to todays modern high velocity ultra long range cartridges, I really enjoyed it and think I'll pack it this bear season as well.

I'd rather carry my 71 Deluxe 348 moose hunting than any high powered modern rifle, anyday. Nothing against the modern rifles, but for me I just don't find they compare to the old guns. Such a great feeling to carry one of these old guns and they were so well made. Just have to put one in front of me now for a shot.
BTW, you can often find original sling swivels on Fleabay.

Thought I would share what I was I lucky enough to have found. It is in the mail and on its way as we speak. Far better shape than the other I have, and the Grizz is in a different "pose" shall we say.
