I have had my SXP Defender for 2 years now. I liked it so much I went out and bought the SXP Turkey Hunter edition for this season. It has a drilled and tapped reciever with 24" bbl threaded for Invictor Plus choke tubes and 3.5" chamber.
I would like to accessorize my Defender but its hard to find stuff for it, I figure as they become more popular companies will start making stuff for them.

I may be wrong, but I don't think you will find a new 8 shot anywhere. The new SPX Defender is made in Turkey and imported by the U.S. and due to some retarded state dept. regulation, they are not alowd to import shotguns with a mag capacity of more than 5[?] . Thats why the Turkish made UTS-15 could not be imported to the US, so UTAS started to manufacture in the US to supply the American market.
I am happy to hear that everyone likes the quality of this gun. It has a chrome lined barrel and I think the barrel may actually be a bit heavier than the old 1300's.
I love my old 1300 defender and will never part with it. It was the first shotgun I bought. The speed pump is awsome.
Speaking of the UTS-15, I have one on order and I,m glad I'm getting the Turkish made model as I find the degrading quality of affordable American made firearms a little dissapointing.

I tried one and my first impressions are very positive. The finish is great, the action is the smoothest of all the pumps I have shot so far. The forearm doesn't rattle at all. Seems like a great choice if you want a midrange pump shotgun other than the usual 870 Express or Mossberg 500/590

So, my first shotgun/rifle ever arrived today! It is the Winchester Speed Pump Black Shadow. Reading this thread is making me super excited to take it out of the box and get it all assembled. Hopefully I'll have a chance this weekend to go out on the land and try it out!
