Hmmm ... Just goes to show that you can learn something new every day. I guess I thought Beomat was out of business because nobody around here talks about them anymore or has shown any interest in buying one. I see they are listed on the Lawry website. I also saw an item on the QRP website that talks about Beomat since 2009, so, perhaps there was a reorganization at that time. I understand that the GMV machines were a copy of the Beomats. I found an active website for the GMV machines that list a European phone number and QRP in Ohio as their only dealer. Shyda's Services in PA show the GMV machines as "no longer available", perhaps that means that they no longer sell them.
We have a GMV machine that we bought used and worked very well for us for some time. It became unreliable and we replaced it with a Pat trap. I think that we can get it up and running again and it did throw great doubles targets.
But, again, I am not aware of anyone buying a dedicated trap machine other than a Pat trap in southern Ontario.
