Hey everyone,
Just wanted to leave a quick introduction. I'm from Winnipeg Canada and just recently stumbled onto your website.
I'm currently a student in my third year of mechanical engineering and I've started developing an interest in target rifle. I'm hoping to pick up a .22 come summertime to learn the basics, mind you, I'm totally new to this and have never fired a rifle so go easy on me, we'll be fixing that soon enough
What piqued my interest was the whole idea that ballistics will allow an individual to hit a target from extreme distances, even a kilometer away. As an engineering student, the math and physical principals behind projectile trajectory really click with me and seemed like a fun, practical way to start using the things they teach in the classroom. Call me a nerd
Eventually I hope to try shooting trap/skeet as well as hunting and target shooting with a handgun however, with Canadian firearm legislation as it is, I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble.
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell, pleasure to meet you all!
