Winter entertainment

Long winter, bored....and my tools are getting lonely.
Decided to try and build a rifle.
So, off to the the store and got some 2 1/2 round 4140.
After a few hours, my little mill did this.

Well, here it is to final width (1.375), one end at 15 degrees, and a bit off the top (like the barber shop).
Now off to find a square hole somewhere..Ukr Tire maybe......



As to what it will be, have to cut away all the surplus metal to see what is hiding in there!

The 45/120 come up on EE, you know...... "Like new, fired four times" Hmm......LOL

Since it is decided as a single shot falling block, it needs a "upanddownerator".
A pattern on a chunk of 5/8 cold rolled.

Turned the trained mice loose.

After some file work, getting better.
