And the fact that canadaammo is out of stock lol. What's the next best (cheapest but good) ammo to buy? Or... Should i be looking at something more expensive for accuracy?

Thx!

Tradex carries S&B which is good, and MFS which is so-so....
Marstar still has Nork.

MFS is steel case and partially steel projectile too, some people are put off by that.

I would also like to know what people are shooting for cheap .223

reload, that way you have no good excuse to whine about cheap ammo.

I have used American Eagle, Norinco, MFS bulk ammos and it's all been just fine, but your best bet might be to reload. I also reload bulk ammo and its cost is break even on bulk so why not? I reload cause I enjoy it aswell so that helps.

tulammo is also around now? I've never tried it but it is another option.

Norinco ammo is fine for what it is, and if you're blasting away on the 7 yard line it's perfect. Sure, you might get a hard-primer or some other minor malfunction every once and a while but that's great for practicing malfunction drills. I wouldn't want to be shooting for accuracy at 200 yards though.

I got lucky last week at Reliable. They were selling some norc 5.56. I bought 200 rounds (40 rounds / pack). May be they still have some in stock. They can't keep them in stock for long. Been using norc 5.56 and have no issue with them... count the stars

I wish I could find somewhere that sold .223 in an ammo can or on stipeer clips so I could store it neatly. Too anal to have it thrown in somewhere and too lazy to neatly organize it.

230/1000 including the cost of brass?

Who pays for .223 brass? I got several thousand that I've collected, it doesn't take long to have a large collection of it.
I don't take into consideration the cost of brass that is commonly littered all over the range.

that being said, I mean for "bulk" reloading, for my precision rifle I used same headstamp brass.
