Without Warning Muzzle Brakes now in Canada

Usually, people don't become wealthy for being stupid; we can all spend our money however we see fit. :)
Well I'm glad to hear you folks at Dominion Outdoors are wealthy and can spend your money as you wish......:)

Meanwhile us poor folks struggle to buy gas, groceries, pay rent or a mortgage.......:(

$800.00-$900.00 for a muzzle brake is the most ridiculous thing I've seen this year......:) LOL

Thank you for sharing your grievances. We are not insulated from struggles either, and it's ignorant to assume we aren't affected by the political and economic environment we are in. We are all in the same boat; I wish we could focus on being supportive instead of always trying to tear each other down in our small firearm community.

Nobody said you need to buy the brake, but there are people in this country who do want to, and we have brought them in for those people.

Can you afford a new Corvette? Probably not! You going to call all the dealers and complain about the cost? If you don’t like the price then just move along and keep all your negative shxt to yourself. So your retired but still paying a mortgage? How people spend their money is the business of only themselves. Your a very sour individual!! Think maybe you were made in China haha now that’s funny. About as funny as a factory Ruger made gun outshooting a custom made one.

No I can't afford a Corvette, nor would I buy one.

And no I'm not calling all the dealers and complaining about their ridiculous asking prices for things. Only this muzzle brake.

If you like this price, then buy one, and shut up. Apparently we are going down this road again to argue, I'm okay with that.

I have every right to express my concerns over dealers gouging customers, as do you to protect them. So go ahead and state what you wish.

And your right, people can spend as much money as they wish, some just have more money than brains......:)

You are as equally sour as any other Gunnuter on here. And your China comment is just plain idiotic.

I have never stated a factory Ruger firearm can out-shoot a custom rifle, but I am certain it could happen.

If you would really like to know my finances, then sure I'm glad to explain:

Married the wrong girl at 20 years old, she turned out to be a throw-back.

Second wife was a dreamer, hit menopause and it changed her to an evil person, she cost me a half million dollars.

My third and current wife of 13 years is a sweetheart and my best friend/soulmate. She could have saved me a lot of grief and money if I had met her when I was 20. We hunt, camp, enjoy the outdoors together and have an okay life, except for the place we live in.

Mortgage? Ya well, two X-wife's changed all that. As did the Covid scam (the largest wealth transfer in the world), and a corrupt Liberal Government that has made the cost of living almost untouchable for a lot of Canadians.

Currently my wife and I rent a run-down 1977 mobile home on a beautiful acreage. The trailer has floor rot, black mold, infested with rodents and bugs, and the furnace is broken. Has been for five years now. The landlord who is wealthy, will not fix the issues. One would say, take her to court, or contact the BC Tenancy Branch, we have already checked all the boxes. If we fight back and get kicked out, we become homeless like some other Canadians that have gone this route.

We have tried to find a better place to live, but vacancy rates are negative 30% in this area. Average rent is $2500.00 to $3000.00 per month. We cannot find a house to buy that is affordable. We can't afford $600,000.00 to $750,000.00, which is the going rate here to buy.

So yes, maybe I'm a little angry, but no more than you are my friend.

If the dealer doesn't like my comments, they are free to delete them. I stick by my statement that $800.00 or more for a muzzle brake is absolutely insane. And no, I won't buy one at this price. And I could care less if people do, one cannot fix stupidity.

So if you care to throw insults at me personally, I can always give you my cell number and we can hash it out over the phone. I'm up for it!

And for the record, I retired due to health issues, not by choice. And no, I'm not looking for sympathy, this can be found between s@x & syphilis in the dictionary.

Any more questions or snide comments?

Alright boys, let's try to keep this thread on the rails and about the brake. As much fun as it is to put on our war paint and take our keyboards to the battlefield, let's calm down. We are just trying to inform our fine Canadian brethren about a cool brake we are bringing in due to demand. If it's not your cup of tea, that's fine. Just because you may not like something or see value in it doesn't mean someone else doesn't. That is what makes us all unique and our firearm sport and community so much fun. Let's keep it fun.

Don't like the brake? That's great. Don't take things so personally. We aren't telling anyone to buy it.

So quit the complaining, and let's enjoy guns and stop moaning about a piece of metal. If you had a bad day, we hope it gets better. But find somewhere else to vent.

All these people sħitting on the OP probably get so butt hurt when they get lowballed on marketplace.
This site has change a lot in the last almost 20 years.
It’s crazy the amount of whiñey little bițches we have here now.

Just let the buisness do their buisness stuff. If you don’t want it move on.

So how do you figure this dealer is gouging anyone? If the average price for a Burris scope is $250. Then there’s a dealer selling for $700 the same scope, well that’s gouging. Have you seen the price of this brake cheaper anywhere else? Don’t really think bashing a business because you think a product is highly overpriced is fair or intelligent unless it is gouging!! As far as your obvious multiple failed relationships, well that’s not something that needs to be discussed on an open forum but I see the reason for your sour attitude. Cheers

Dominion continues to be clowns
This is a ridiculous comment. Dominion has been great supplier of all things PRS and long range for competitors.

I find this whole conversation to be completely over blown here. Dominion isn’t making this muzzle brake so why bust em up over it? It’s another option for competitors to use. You don’t have to buy it!

All my dealings with Dominion have been great and appreciate there selection and some hard to find stuff. Some people want this kind of stuff others don’t ,so if you want it and can afford it go for it. A little steep for me but not going to harp on Dominion for carrying a range of products.

so based on price I had to look into this more. conceptually it seems like a great product. can I afford one? no. that said, I would love to get one. less blast, tuner built in that doesnt look huge and it looks good. What's really hurting the price? exchange rate. Dominion Outdoors, thanks for bringing them in.

We just didn't know people would be so sensitive toward a piece of metal.
First day on the Internet? I'm kidding, but seriously, this type of online behavior is so typical these days. CGN is more like Reddit now. No wonder current events are playing out as they are.

Very nice brakes. Good to see high end options in Canada still. Everyone is peddling chinesium, Temu level crap. I can get that on Amazon. These are top tier.
