Ouch. That's horrible. I wouldn't feel safe shooting that rifle. I know there's a brake in period for parts to marry. That usually means a bit of the finish wearing away not a bolt disintegrating.

I had no idea this was also an issue...nothing I like better than puttig a grenade against my face and pulling a trigger to see if my head goes poof!

They'd better get with the program and recall defective parts or face the consequences when one of them blows up. In any case, even cosmetic damage from a design flaw is still damage. They need to change thisbfree of charge. If it were a car and something caused any sort of damage, a recall would be in order ASAP.
 
I’m thinking of posting some of these pictures of the receiver wear on Instagram the the hashtag# Kodiakdefence, #Wk180c and #wk180. Maybe if enough of us do that it will show a problem and maybe then they’ll fix them for us? What do you guys with the problems think?
 
Well at this point it could be the solution to a defective customer service...
I mean if the company can't stand behind their products and admit they made mistake...
 
I bought 2 WC180 and both are good shooting rifle but as a protestation for the Cie to do what is right for those important discrepency, instead of buying a upper in 7.62 X39 for my WC180, i just ordered a Type 81 in 7.62 X39 in support for you guys.

Hope Kodiak take care of business, anything less is innaceptable.
