So when will these be on the shelf? This waiting forever thing is tiring.
It takes a long time to do something right.
It would be cool once Wolverine and Kodiak have the final version of the WK181-C for Wolverine to put in their summary video a comparison with the VZ 58 Wolverine sells, the way they included a comparison with an AR-15 in their WK180-C Range Time and Quick Field Strip video. I'd expect the WK to do well in the comparison, at a better price point then the VZ.

People have varying results from xcr pistol mags in x39 but they always worked for me.

Hold on, if there is a pistol version of the wk181 wouldn't a 10 rnd AK mag be A ok then???? Now there is literally a pistol that takes AK mags readily available in the country!!!!

If Kodiac manufactures a mag for it, probably.
I suspect, given the focus of the WK180 and the WK181 being non-restricted, that they will be very reluctant to sell a pistol variant of either in Canada. The pistol variant is likely intended for the States alone, as they mentioned tailoring the variants to the country they are exporting to. Even if they do choose to do so, they said in the video they had to fill out their backlog of pre-orders first.
In the meantime, if you absolutely need 10 rounds of 7.62x39, you can run the new upper with the old lower and use a 10 round XCR pistol magazine.

Yes there is....there are also replacement followers with LRH open .
