wondering about warranty on a second hand pistol

Take the chance, if it breaks fix it. This incessant belief that everything has a warranty for life is getting old. Sh*t breaks, fix it or sell it. Stop whining to the manufacturer years later as if they owe you something.

This is wrong on so many levels. You pay premium for warranty. It's never free. If there is no warranty it means the manufacturer knows upfront the extra that can be charged will not cover the volume and cost of repairs. They do owe you. You paid your money and part of your money covered warranty.

Most guns seem to warrant the original owner. But I wonder, what if it's something devastatingly wrong with the gun? What if a Glock blows up using factory ammo, but you bought it pre-owned? Glock wouldn't be the least bit interested to take care of you?
