Wooden AR furniture...

In light of the new remington ar 15, and the sportsman theme, a nice walnut stock, engraved receiver, ducks unlimited model would be neat..... gold inlay

saw one laminated thumbhole stock on that 'E' place auction a year or so ago..looked good.. was in the grey tones..think bell carlson /hk sl8 style. was going for around 175 US

Back in the day, Milarm had a complete set of wood AR furniture. It was exact SP1/old M16 style stuff, triangle handguard etc. It sat up on their wall for years as no one was interested. Probably should have bought it along with one of the chrome ARs. That would have been a rare one, and in all honesty, probably collectable by the AR nutz.

its beautiful....now, to find somewhere to engrave some flying geese on the receiver and put in the gold inlay....

gold plated trigger also.

A buddy of mine in Florida had a set of wood SP1 furniture made in anticipation of setting up a group buy on ar15.com.
Not sure what happened to it as it never happened.
He has the set he ordered though.
