It is been posted at IPSC Canada web site for as long as I can remember and you only figured it now?
If you are concerned you should have said that to your SC and ask him to bring it up at the last NEC meeting where things like that are being decided.

Figure what out now? The slot process? The slot process I am aware of - slots to the top twenty or so shooters from the divisions as old great one has outlined above.

I have brought that topic up at a yearly general meeting. Rejected. Funny old great one himself leaned over and whispered "Your trying to pass a motion that would possibly take away a slot from people in this room and your looking for support on that? Good luck!"

Well, there are at least 2 or 3 Ladies and few Juniors in Canada who can easily take one of the top 20 slots. The rest probably should just work a bit harder...
 
I'm not, because I couldn't prove that I'll be able to enter the states for the match. Catch 22 as I need to have a slot to apply for the waiver (which my interview at the border told me would be a sure thing). Meh, if I get my waiver anyhow I'll be there visiting some friends and will swing by for a laugh.
 
90 days for processing. I'm not too worried about it honestly. Hopefully people have a fun time at the match and it sets the bar for future matches, as the last 3 certainly have lowered it.

Based on your accomplishments at the last 3 IPSC Canada Nationals, you have earned one of the slots to the World Shoot in Frostproof, Florida in October 2014.

If you would like to go, you need to submit payment for the slot. It must arrive here by January 18th.

(This includes divisional team members - who will receive a refund in their honorarium later)

These are the pertinent dates of the event:

Opening ceremonies: 12 October
Main Match: 13-18 October (everyone shoots 5 of the 6 days)
Awards: 19 October

Entry Fee to pay to IPSC Canada: $### Canadian Dollars.

This will include one official WSXVII IPSC Canada Shirt that you will wear to the opening ceremonies.

(More will be available for purchase before the match)

You can EMT to this email address (don't forget to send a password) or you can mail a check or money order to the IPSC Canada PO Box. (IPSC Canada,...)

VERY IMPORTANT: If I do not receive your entry fee before 12 PM on January 17, 2014 I will assume you have decided you don't want to attend and you will forfeit your slot and it will be allocated to the next person in line.

When you send your payment; please indicate the division (open, production, standard) and category (senior, lady, super senior) you plan to shoot in at the Match (You do not have to shoot the division that you qualified in, unless you're shooting for an official team)

Expecting in mail or we meet somewhere downthere? Already paid matchfee, hotel booked, rental lined up, flights dialed. Just the motivation to practice.
 
amazing how that issue with the info on the world shoot was not sent to anyone I know in BC. And not just new members, but guys that have been around awhile.
