Would you buy a rifle that is on the looming C21 amendment list?

Buy what you fancy right now... in this moment.
If its non-restricted (like the WK 180 your mulling over), then all the better.

Thinking about "what may or may not be banned" is both flawed and irrelevant.

Here's why.... over a long enough timeline, the Liberal/Globalist regime with want to ban all firearms.

I give about 5 years until precision bolt actions will be considered "Military Style Sniper Rifles" ... the narrative and terminology will be pushed by mainstream media ....which will of course lay waste the PRS and F Class sports.

Our dickweed PM will be in front of the camera spewing forth similar, canned results as he is right now.
I can see the future now....
"there is no place for these weapons in Canada.... You do not need to shoot a deer from 800 yards away"

buy what you can while you can ... there is many that forgot about that in 95 the same for ars, now the handguns and what is next of course the hunting/shotguns rifles i will repeat buy what you can while you can it wont last ...

It depends on what the rifle is and your own risk tolerance. The Kodiak WK180C has the naughty look and will probably not be taken off. The question is whether you want to own a rifle that you cannot take to the range or into the field and if caught with face a possible criminal charge, loss of your PAL, seizure of all of your firearms, fines, custodial sentence and other potential consequences of a criminal code charge. Your choice.

I don't think the government should be in the habit of making my day harder for no good reason.

How old are you? You still havent figured out the government main job is make your day and life harder. Be it taxes, inflation, health care, medication. If they truly cared they would fix it.

I'm mainly a pistol shooter, and I cannot buy anymore.

Almost 50. Old enough to know what the government does, but still young enough to see the ideal of what it should be.

I will buy anything that I can get my hands on if the price is right , I have many banned by OIC and lots on the C21 list, I will be adding a few more, if this gets passed I will never have a chance to buy then again

Well maybe on Jane and Finch

Money can be replaced firearms can't

Buy everything you have ever want/need NOW

If I can afford it and think that I will use it then yes buy it. Another reason may be to simply have what may not ever be available again. Another reason will be to hold out for a profit on a buyback.

I have friends who are firearms enthusiasts and I figured one day I'd get my own but never really got around to licensing.
The 2010 OIC came along and I could see that my window was closing pretty fast.
Been RPAL for about a year now, thankfully got in prior to the handgun freeze and will continue to pick up whatever firearms I can while I can.
Banned or not, I like having them around. :)

In the mid 1990s there was talk of a complete handgun ban. I bought a handgun and I've been enjoying it ever since. Friends at the time didn't bother, as they "were going to be banned any day now" and they've never owned handguns. I'm happier w. my choice.

You'll always regret the things you didn't do, more than the ones you did do. (Caveat, as long as you're not hurting anything more than Liberal feels.)
