Would you buy a shotgun from someone who spells gauge guage?

"Pics to your e-mail" gets the serious buyers. Plus, I ain't got no clue on how to post pics on CGN. FB, no problem.

"Pics to your email" means most of us "serious buyers" scroll right past. If you can post to FB you can link your FB pics to CGN pretty easy.

Right Click on your FB pic, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS then go to your post on CGN. Click the 3rd icon from the right on top of your post (looks like a square with dots on the corners) then paste the image address into it. Viola.

Well, to be honest, I can't post on FB, but the ol'lady can. We'll give it a try when she gets back from Kentucky. Thank-you.

As long as it's EE rant day, the one thing that drives me insane is finding something interesting and the add references local sale or extras for local sale but there is no location provided. Really? We have to play PM tag before I know if I'm even eligible to give you my money?
Along the same lines is coats and boots etc with no sizes.

There was one recently like that.

“Local sale only, I WILL NOT SHIP A FIREARM, period!”

Look for location - none listed. Laugh2

Yes, the term shotty (or shottie) makes you wonder if the gun has a red tipped barrel and the seller's rushing to get the ad posted before Sesame Street starts.

Another EE gut splitter are the ads that proclaim the gun is "in excellent condition for it's age".

But, the posters who feel savvy by describing their gun as having either synthetic or wood furniture are a hoot. At this rate, somebody will be advertising a gun with walnut barrels!

If you can't spell to save your life and you don't know the meaning of the words you use, go ahead and call me a fudd, or the grammar police, or any childish pejorative you can think of - coming from you, I'll wear it as a badge of honour.

So long as we're ranting...

"Custom" always gets me. Nothing like putting $60 of parts on a $500 to make it worth $600.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^This x1,000,000

Especially if you are selling something for thousands of dollars.

I have to dis-agree. I spend plenty of $ on this site. Your no-pic/to email EE ad gets put the the bottom of the pile for me. I rarely go back to those ads & ask. It's easy man, go here: https://postimages.org/
THEN Upload the picture, then it goes to the Next page, then you COPY the 2nd Link down {You can close that page now, you're done}
THEN on your EE ad, you pick the pic of the little Frame thing that has a Tree in in-it will usually give you 2 options for posting the link you now have saved-pick the option that is FROM URL-also UNCHECK this-> "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" <- THEN you Paste it. voila. Ez Peezy.

I can only speak for myself. (note I didn't read all the posts) It is likely the person is not a trained typist and also doesn't proof read every thing before hitting post. Maybe his left finger is faster then his right or vice versa. Get over it.
