Win/64, with respect, that's the wrong attitude for the CGN forum. We are steps away from a total gun ban in Toronto. You must have huge b@lls to post that view on this forum! Miller is going after all guns...yes, even the ones you like! The firearm in my first post would be fully legal if imported from the factory in that configuration. It would be sold legally to licenced owners and you have the nerve to suggest that the people who would want to own one should have a guilty conscience? Our sport is doomed with a mentality like that....

You asked for our opinion in your original post. Yet when we disagree with your point of view. You blast us as "Anti's". If you don't want an opinion on something. Don't ask. :runaway:

Nothing anti about that comment and i agree. A foreign copy of that " thing " hasn't got a snowballs chance of ever getting to the collectable stage.

Sorry but i beg to differ.
When you cannot have access to the original due to law, rarity or else, a "foreign copy" is definitively acceptable as a replacement in ones collection, from a collector standpoint of course.

My restricted shotguns where all registered for "collection purpose" without any problems whatsoever.

A "strange" or rare configuration shotgun is considered by me and also by other collectors a "collectable" firearm.

Of course the originals, since there is no copy of those in country yet!

What do you think this is? a copy?
It's a genuine Ithaca Auto & Burglar, try to find one in Canada if you can!

There is a big difference between collecting and collectable.

My thoughts on shotguns put the likes of Parkers and L.C. Smiths, among others , in the collectable category where they are a piece of history that appreciate in value. Yes, even the Ithaca Burglar has it's collectable place in Americana .

You can collect as many of those sawed off POS knockoff imitation hammer guns that could be imported under whatever name but they are a long way off from collectable and / or desireable

I wouldn't dare put a Parker in the same category as this "short barrel double"... but who knows what the future may bring, maybe it will be one of those "significant" firearms been made available to Canadians...

Heck, if this work maybe some of the mainstream manufacturer might just get back in the game. (Didn't Holland also make one of these things?)

Hey sorry, but I'm not the only person who took your opinion the way I did. I guess when you post something like that you have to be clear or it will be taken the wrong way.

Got some good news for you all....they're coming....mwaaaaaahahahahahaha. I'll leave the details to the retailer who informed me if he wants to chime in........as usual he was way ahead of the rest......mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha.....

Don't toy with me, I am sick and weakly, and in an easily susceptible state :runaway:

I can only hope, exposed hammers, 12-14in barrel, it would be so much damn fun, it would have to be sinful...
