Would you consider importing the Norinco JS 9mm SMG (Type 97 style SMG)?

Would you buy one of these if the price was reasonable?

Clobbersauras, and others that have bought the Type 97 sure seem to be pleased with them. I have to say it's definately swayed me to the Norinco side, which I previously would have avoided like the plague :D.

Also the US export bans have sure made alternatives a necesity.

Perhaps it's the good old steel core 7.62x25 Tok cartridge.
It has pretty wicked penetration.
 
Actually this is what I meant:

JS-9 = Chambered for the .9x19mm-Parabellum cartridge, new standard sidearm ammo for the PLA. This submachinegun can take any world-manufactured .9x19mm-Parabellum round, but is optimized for the armor-piercing DAP-92 cartridge, this being by itself a Chinese copy of the Russian .9x19mm-Parabellum PBP ammo developed for the GSh-18 pistol (the Russian PBP and Chinese DAP-92 cartridges take their special armor-piercing capabilities not only from their specially conceived bullet, as described by Mr. MAXIM POPENKER at http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg111-e.htm , but also from their extra load, in fact both PBP and DAP-92 cartridges, when fired, develop extra pressures, like, to say, +P+ or even +P++. That's why the PBP and DAP-92 cartridges can be fired only with .9x19mmm-chambered firearms which have been specifically engineered for them, while those firearms can normally handle any military-grade or commercial 9mm-Luger ammo).

In my humble opinion, these would sell very well in 9mm with an 18.5" (or a bit longer as long as it's non-restricted) with an optional fake can and with 3 mags included in the package, and without optics.
 
18.5 F--- THAT as short as possible!!!! HAHA sorry not to harp on yah I just want the closest thing to an mp5 I can get! I wouldn't shoot it anywhere other than the range... and besides we will all have the NR 97's so no need for another NR ;)
 
I'd prefer the 05, or this...

That's pretty much my opinion as well. I'd actually like something even handier than the MP5 that I can't buy :D
