Would you shoot a sasquatch?

If I were to encounter such a creature while hunting, I couldn't shoot it knowing it is surely an endangered species or a guy in a hair suit LOL

That said..... if I ever hunt the way back part of the chilliwack river valley again, I will absolutely want a go pro at the ready at all times....... simply based on past experience.

A sasquatch? Nope, I wouldn't shoot it.

1) Endangered if it exits.
2) If it's not trying to do me any harm then I have no reason to harm it.
3) Likely to be some idiot in a costume

Now if it was the Ogopogo or a Unicorn then it's fair game. Those things are A@@ holes. :p

There ya go

Ok, so what would be an adequate sasquatch caliber and rifle combo ?
Thinking my 308 bcl 102 with 10 round pistol mag and red dot might be the cats meow! ☺

I was waiting for the caliber question to come up. Surprised it took this long.
I'm going to say 45/70 in a Marlin guide gun. You're likely in thick forest, and you definitely want some quick follow ups.

Having already had the opportunity but felt my 22/410 was not up to the task. So let it pass. Now if I had the 20 with slugs next time think I would go for it. Definitely a centre mass shot and I would prefer to be in my machine pointed in the other direction, just in case. What is their top speed, anyway?

88 mph

No, I'd catch em to study it for a while and then rent it out for reality shows. Shockley called the other day. He wanted one to enhance his lame hunting shows. He is also getting his guides ready to shoot at it.

But frick I'm speculating... until it's in the bag it may just be a day dream.
