just shoot it in your bolt rifles.
this day and age it isnt worth it to shoot corrosive through a gas operated semi unless you are going to shoot something like a thousand rounds at once.
i have no problem shooting corrosive through bolt actions (which take a few minutes to thoroughly clean), but having to completely strip a semi and then spend an hour cleaning it with boiling water, solvents, reoiling, etc is just too much work to save a couple of bucks on the average range session.
for the same reason i always shoot corrosive 7.62x54R through my old Mosins but only shoot non-corrosive through my SVT. that corrosive #$@% gets into everything. despite what i tell them a couple people i know shoot corrosive and then just clean the bore and gas port but then neglect to clean the rest - you pretty much have to clean the entire damned rifle.... and its not worth it if you are just shooting a couple boxes of ammo.
now my friends - who buy a case of corrosive and then go shoot it all at once - i totally understand them choosing corrosive since they save a substantial amount of money and its only one cleaning. but for just a couple boxes? #$@% that.
