The grip on a standard soviet Tok isnt exacty huge, but I am pretty sure that is an enormous set of meat hooks we are looking at there.

I just picked up my m213 from the post office it is a little ruff some scratches and rub marks but all in all I am very happy with it for $99. The slide was tight and would stick when I racked it but after I cleaned and oiled it it seems to work fine. I will take it to the range tomorrow. I took some pic's I don't know if they are any good but here you go any way.

Thanks Man!!!
Nice pics...

It looks OK for $99, and the most important...it appears that it does not have Made in China marks on it!

whats the safty for?...old wwII ones dont have them ..:D

US import requirements back when Norks could be imported into the US.

An afterthought that doesn't work well, poor ergonomics, but what the ATF demanded, the ATF got. Same reason the M-14s/M305 does not have a bayonet lug and the flash suppressors are spotwelded on.

Methinks one can't go wrong with a Tokarev regardless of country of origin.
My first handgun was a Hungarian version (only a half-#### safety).

I even had found a 9mm barrel, and several 9mm mags for it.

Great handgun to start with, easy to clean, and cheap to feed.

Then I stupidly sold it due to the hassle of ATT permits etc, as at that time dealing with the BC CFO was a royal pain in the ass, and I was moving quite a bit. :(

I often wonder where it ended up and if I'll ever get a chance to get it back someday...

Especially as my wife aced her Restricted license and now wants a handgun. :dancingbanana:

I'm trying to handload a round that will fit in the barrel...I've resized the case to the max and used the factory crimp to the max as well and it still doesn't sit "flush" the way the factory load does, after bullet seating (the empty, resized brass does fit, however). I thought Chinese tolerances were supposed to be loose, but in this case the same round that works fine in a M&P, NZ-85 etc. doesn't go in this one. I'll take it to the reloading forum...interested if anyone else has similar issues.

Hey guys well I am very new to shooting but I will let you know how it went.
Feed it 100 rounds of American eagle "red box?" only one fail to eject My sights were about 10 inches right and 5 inches low at 25m. Once I figured out the sights if I took my time my groups were about the size of a pie plate but that could just be me. Don't hold too high on the grip or the hammer can pinch you hand. That about all my inexperienced mind can think of. P.S. is there any way to adjust fixed sight or can these ones be replaced?
Mine racked ok on an uncocked hammer just had to work it in a bit.

You could grab a file & shave the sights down, Get buzy bubba!

That pinch comes standard with Tok's design, Im sure you wont be the only one that gets pinched,
but you might be the only one who would admit it :D

Are you kidding me? Pie plate at 25 m? That's not bad!

I ordered on the 24th and it's still queued (no change in status)... I hope I'm not being forgotten because I'm all the way east in Quebekistan!

That would really suck! :(

Don't feel bad, I ordered one on Dec 21 & my order status is still "queued". I live in Ontario.
