Fuzzle rakes

The first run of muzzle brakes are done. I am being sent one for testing hopefully this week.

P.S I'm glad everyone is enjoying their grips!

My M213 with the new grips

I got the new grips for asimons today in the mail.
i put them on and below are the photos. I cut the bottom with an exacto just enough to clear the space for the magazine lip, then smoothed it out with a dremmel tool with the stone head.

the magazine release button area needs some work to make it easier to use

i cant wait for the weekend to hit the range. i hope with the new grips i will get some good groups. the stock ones were simply too small and i wasnt able to hold the pistol properly

I HEAR YA!

I found I was actually able to get a better group with one handed than with two due to the crowding that often had my thumbs or fingers dragging on the slide and opening up the groups. The only two hand way that worked is either concentrate on not rubbing the slide, hard to do when the gun all but dissappears in my grip, or use a more revolver like two handed grip where I provide the support by cupping the strong hand from below.

New grips are in the planning but I'm not sure if I want to go rubber slip ons from asimons or do my own wood grips or go "bubba" and mold something directly on the gun using epoxy putty and wax for a mold release.
