Haha sorry meant to say I've never had a problem with steel mags in the army in general. But yes this problem would not exist if it weren't for the super awesome public saftey pins

Magpul QA is a bit questionable lately I bought several MAGPUL M3 mags from a local supplier only to find the rivets in two of the 6 fell out, as happy as I am for having a 30rnd mag I don't feel like being bubba's playmate in the pen so I returned them and exchanged for a pair of new ones. The retailer was actually not surprised as I'm not the first customer to return a mag with rivets falling out.
Don't blame Magpul.
I'm under the impression it may be the Canadian importer/distributor who does the pinning, but I'm not sure.
5/30 pretty stupid to begin with,buy 5,10,20 30,or 40's that hold the rounds,buy maglula speed loader.
Sort of off topic, but is there a better way to pin them, like an aftermarket pin kind of thing? I'd hate to "go to the pen over a pin" as well.
