When I enquired before I was told canada post is the only way to send firearms throughout canada :-o

Just came in! Came with all that stuff you see too. About 50 zombie targets and magazines. It's still dirty and I will clean It up after work.

after you have a thorough look at it, can you comment on the finish? chrome? paint? will it last?

also a pic of the other side. doesnt appear to be china markings on the slide which is a good sign
 
I only had about 10 mins to play and take pictures (I was late for work), but the finish looks very durable, it wont scratch very easy I don't think. Well worth the price. I just need to touch up the rear sight dot. I don't think the finish is painted, looks chrome to me. Im going to clean it up when I get home, came packed in storage oil so its still dirty. Ill take more pics after its done.

Looks very good. No obvious butchering on the slide and stuff. Cant wait to hear your feedback. Im sure it will help a lot of us decide on the purchase

Canpar guy was around again today. Couldn't leave my parcel?? He needs a in person signature?? So now I have to try and chase them?? Or is it going to be easier to return to shipper and ship it Canada Post??Those _uck heads from the other threads have really messed things up? Canpar just doesn't work for me anymore!!!

Cleaned her up, and put on some new grips. Obvious machining marks on the inside, with lots of burrs. But that's with all norincos.
 
I'm no expert in finishes, but it looks plated to me. On the box there are 3 options for finishes; blued, parkerized, and chromium plated. The chrome plated finished is checked off on the norinco box.
 
I don't think it ever snows in Vancouver -- maybe they had too much rain. :)
Had the same thing happen to me.
I actually received my registration papers before it was even acknowledged as transferred by CanAm.
