WR762 rifle

Even better would be a no furniture option. I'm sure many of us have beech kits, extra beaver barf furniture, or could source either.

That being said i think the cheaper option is better, considering these might already be more expensive than a standard VZ (just speculation based on them being made here in Canada).

Oh my, I've been excited about this for some time. Although like everyone, I have a suggestion, that has already been mentioned I think maybe. If you can produce a Vz that is like the FSN short Vz carbines with the front sight on the gas block, you'd have something that is otherwise unavailable as an aftermarket modification, and not available from any other retailers. Many of the suggestions here require unnecessary re-engineering or just features easily available in the aftermarket. And just check out how much drool is produced when bfiles posts pictures of his FSN, or how often marstar gets messages asking when or if the FSN rifles are coming back. Solid bet for sure. Also, another idea already brought up is threading for AK brakes. I would think that'd be a given really if it was an option and a definite advantage over other rifles out there.

Have some in surplus and some in beaver barf.....damn I'm excited to see the final product! If the price is right I'll take 3

Yeah, AK threading would open up a world of options for muzzle brake junkies (if you can get all those brakes into Canada).

can't to hear news for this rifle..

Can anyone clarify the situation on 858s & 58s? these will be no longer imported or what?

858's are apparently done, but vz 58's are still coming to Canada. For some reason a lot of people are selling there CZ's right now which is actually ok since prices on them have dropped to around $1100

Ok so I will do 20 % in hardwood and the rest of rifles is barf wood. Brining price down is what majority want. Also will do AK thread for Muzzlebreak.

Cheers

Yeah from various black gun discussions I think a low price point will indeed be a strong selling point, just anecdotal observation though.
