Yes, I noticed a BC dealer advertising they will have them in stock next week and no news here from the originator of these rifles.
Kinda disappointing as a fair number have placed a preorder here with WR.

It's very likely dealers had rifles ordered well in advance of the consumer pre order.

Hello Everyone
Yes dealers ordered those. Wanstalls were first dealer in BC who ordered big quantity of those. We had two final samples that were shipped to us and because they put their trust in our project and money
we shipped those to Wanstall. Everyone who wants to see and touch those this weekend go visit Wanstalls today.

Basically nest week all the dealers that pre order those will receive shipping notice from us that the guns are coming.
We are very excited of this release

Rifle is made by Kodiak Defence Inc in Windsor Ontario (kodiakdefence.com)
Brand new receiver is cut from a solid block of metal
Brand new barrel is made in Canada (non chrome lined)
Brand New Wood Stock for Deluxe package
Barf wood stock made in CZ for Classic package
Magazine is made in CZ (it is VZ58 magazine)
All internal parts come from a supplies in CZ
This is fully functional Non-restricted Rifle made in Canada

It is WestRifle.com Product and yes it is stamped like that. It also has a canadian flag on it and made in Canada.
Why does it matter may I ask?

Personal taste would be my guess.
Stamped or cut into the receiver And finished the same as the rest of the metal suits me better then painted white on a dark finish.
Not sure how others feel but I prefer subdued markings.

Sorry I then misunderstood the question. There is no white paint. This is just a choke to show people what are the markings.
Not interested in firearm marked with seller name but yes, it' s a personal choice thanks for the answer.

Damn. Well I won't be buying based just on that.
It's like when I buy a Car. It's OK if it says "Dodge Ram" on it, that's what it is. I don't want it to also have a giant decal on the tailgate that says "Billy Bob's Dodge Dealership".
WR7.62 was plenty. It I wanted your store's name plastered all over it, I'd ask for that as a consumer (I don't). This is one step less than a giant UN laser-etching down the length of the barrel. Yuck.

We are producers of WR762 who contracted Kodiak Defence to make it. We deserve to have our name on it same as "dodge" on Dodge Ram truck
Without Westrifle there would not be WR762. WR stands for West Rifle

that's really too bad...I know myself and many other who would buy that in the blink of eye, but won't purchase a complete rifle...is there a reason why a few extra receivers can't be mated to a barrel and sold as is?
