X95 prices fluctuate depending on the supply. The distributors seem to get a shipment every once in a while and nobody seems to know how often and how many will come in. When the dealers are sold out, the used prices go up.

$2200 is VERY low for an X95 these days. I wouldn't say you "overpaid". That a few people managed to find rifles for considerably less, just means they were lucky. That price is not the norm. An X95 for $2800 is a really good price compared to the average prices on GP.

I tend to agree. Once the current shipment is sold, prices will be right back at $3K. The longer it takes for the next shipment, the higher they will go.

Don't buy those. People can ask whatever they want.

They are very well balanced and easy to carry and manipulate in the field. I've got 4 AR's and honestly if the AR was made non-restricted, at this point I would not sell off the X95. Its a great rifle.

Balance is what sold me on bullpups in the first place. When I got my TAR21, I sold my AR15 after it sat, untouched, in my safe for over a year, and the X95 replaced my TAR21 because it's even better.

They're OK. The front sight is rounded so it's not great for precision. They're quite good for backup sights particularly because they take up effectively zero rail space, but they are definitely backups.
