X95 Non restricted whos getting one ?

Saaaaweet! Mines on the hwy!! Just in time cause this -25 stuff is going away in a few days :)
Gotta start putting the taco's on my carrier and battle belt :ar15::rockOn:

Mine says it left Winnipeg, so dilli's must have too. Too busy to shoot it anyway, will end up being a safe queen for a few months at least. And besides, I need a leftorization.. any word on a bolt kit yet?

...some peoples kids guns... sheesh!

Got mine tonight... ODG and it's awesome!
(Mag is junk FYI, salvage the spring, follower and floor plate then toss the body.)

I'm digging it... it's only a bit bigger than my 7.5" AR which is amazing! Yet, one is NR and one is R. ugh.
I don't know when I'll get to shoot it, but, very nice rifles!

All my Magpul mags drop free empty and the mag-release is no where near as difficult to depress as I was imagining.
The trigger is also way better than I was expecting (I was expecting total-garbage mind you.)

Anyone getting one will be happy. I have zero buyers remorse!
I hope it shoots as well as it looks and handles! :)

Definitely want to see photos and a range report. Green is what I'm thinking about getting.

I wasn't going to post a pic... but...

Magazine is a 'PMAG 40 GEN M3'

I've removed the FH because I'm picking up an 'AAC Blackout' tomorrow morning (hoping the Internet posts about accuracy have to do with the lock nut and stock washer... heh.) I may get range time tomorrow afternoon. We'll see.

***An interesting side note... the 30, 40 rnd mags feel good; they kind of brace against your forearm. The 10rnd mags however can cut into my wrist depending on what I am doing. Something to consider (a con), but the 10rnds are "almost" flush with the rifle. (a pro)***

Oh! and lastly, the pistol grip is waaaay better than the 'Cutlass Grip' (middle finger can carry weight of rifle and not slip behind the trigger), I pre-ordered/imported it way back so I could be ready ;) first must-do-mod IMO. 2-tone cause I'm a sucker for 2-tone.

Not yet anyway, but you could move to Ontario and have better weather and first dibs on all the imported guns.

Well, it just got crazy freezing in Ontario with -7+ weather and harsh winds just the past couple of days. You're better off avoiding Ontario if you can. ;)

What kind of bolt catch/bolt release does the x95 use?

I was planning to just keep my Tavor because I really like it, but the only thing I don't like about it is the bolt catch. Works great for releasing the bolt, but quite awkward for manually locking the bolt back. Might consider the x95 if it uses a better system.

Kind of like a 10/22 right? The X95 bolt catch/release is the same style as on the Tavor.
My range trip is now Monday, but she's ready to go. :(

MMMM so sweet

I received my magpul forward grip, it feels amazing, very ergonomic and easy to aim with and find the correct eye relief. I'm gonna leave the front rails without the panels.

Reliable Gun has some, I was in there fondling one, yesterday. They are sold out of green but have black and FDE in stock.

It seems black is the least favorite color. I was looking at some dealers and according to what they had in stock, the most popular was green, then FDE and then black.
I choose black because that's what the IDF has when training. When deployed they are probably FDE but I'm not sure.
Every armies or law enforcement pictures I've seen involved black Tavors all the time, they were never colored.

But if you look at a more practical ideology behind it, OD is the way to go in Canada. Even FDE is excellent in Fall.

I almost always buy black guns, just my personal preference. With this one I went with ODGreen, I just like the way it looks and being non-restricted I may do a little hunting with it.
