X95 Talk lets see them and hear some range reports and mods

That rail is way to high by the time you put an optic on it your just strait off the stock

Actually its perfect if you are using AR height optic mounts. All major manufacturers have a version of the raised rail for the Tar21 and x95 for this reason.

Since I use a Mepro, its not necessary for a raised rail on the Tavor, but the Mepro's sit about 1/4" to high on AR's.

I see your point there. I just find if you have a rail that high and put an aim point or acog it is just to high. my 2 cents is all.

That ACR pic may have awoken something in me. How do you like yours?

Its been my go to rifle for training and it has yet to let me down. Heck I cleaned it for the first time a few weeks ago because Still Alive felt it was necessary...LMFAO

I've seen 2 styles of RPM hand guards online, but on the gungear website, I only see the longer of the two lengths. Does RPM make 2 styles of hand guards or just the longer style?

I was able to handle an X95 recently and absolutely hated the degree of rear heaviness.

I don't remember the regular Tavor being that butt heavy, although its been awhile since I tried one out.

It's a nice little rifle but not for me.

I find the X95 handles better then my Tavor the rear feels the same but I can see what you mean. it could bet the gap between the mag well and grip that makes the weight feel different to some people.

yup I don't get how manticore could not put a little more thought into the looks of that thing. yes I know looks don't matter with operation but what the F@#@ is that.

How are you guys finding the X95 in terms of reliability? Especially those of you who have not babied yours... has it let you down? Any malfunctions or any other oddities to speak of? I was considering this a while ago but heard that it doesn't quite stand up in the field and became concerned, especially at the steep price.

I have seen some of the videos you are talking about. I don't hold to much on you tube videos on gun reliability. most of them are back yard warriors. unless it is like Larry vicars someone like that. there was even one where the guy was doing a mud test and would shovel mud over the entire thing and would start shooting strait away and then complain that the first round would jam. well of Corse it will as you have 1 inch of mud covering the ejection port where do you think the spent casing is going to go.

if you are going to be shooting where it is going to be full of water or mud or dirt just clear the ejection port give it a good shake and fire away. that's all I do and have had no problems with my tavors or x95.

Remember youtubers get paid by views, so there's a need to sensationalize. If every youtube gun review shows the gun working perfectly, there'll be nobody watching therefore they don't get paid.
