XCR and cratering

FYI its down here -- your up there :D

I like how sea-doos made in Quebec are cheaper down there :(

cars/trucks that prominently have a made in Canada Sticker are 3K cheaper in bama then 20K from the plant..

So it's not all down there to start with it just ends up down there...

Mark,

Give Tim a call - Gun Gallery waved the last 80 of their tan guns, so you may be able to get them, but you'd probably have to take all 80...

I can't be exported under ITAR ;)

Interesting... I tried finding them on Davidson's and they don't even have a Knight's listing or a listing for the SR-15's (black or tan).

I'll call Tim this afternoon...

Thanks
Mark

We only have access to the semi-auto version, so it can be easy to forget that it was designed to meet the needs of SOCOM.

Does the cratering occur with military surplus ammunition?

Ahhh, I see. It's ok to have these XCR threads where all their owners feel the need to get around in a big circle jerk and espouse how wonderful they are to each other and unsuspecting potential buyers, but when someone comes in and points out the obvious flaws, that's beating a 'dead horse'?

Ahhh yes. Beltfed again. Sorry I was ignoring this thread for a while. Anyways, just to clear things up, no one recommended an owners DIY. XCR monger insisted immediatley on sending me a new bolt for free, but due to time and export/mailing problems I asked if I could do it myself. She then explained the process to me and I did it on my own. I also knew that if it didn't work Robarms would back me up with a new bolt for free.

Should the problem have occured? No your right a rifle in this price range should not have pierced primers outa the box. Did Robarm fix the problem quickly and to my satisfaction...YES!
