Not legally. Unless of course you live in the US.
Belt length could be more than 5 rounds....![]()
Since this thread has been bumped I may as well post another update.
Finally got the new upper in the mail on friday, it took a long time to get here because customs decided to open it up and take a "quick" peek (a 3 week peek) inside. Problem is, they neglected to properly repackage everything before they taped the box back together.
The box showed up at my post office looking like it had been run over a few dozen times. As soon as I picked it up I could tell I wasn't going to like what I saw inside; I could feel the contents of the box and it felt as if there was no padding at all. The item in the box were originally wrapped in bubble wrap, but whoever opened it neglected re-wrap everything. Instead I found the bubble wrap wide open and the receiver and barrel literally laying on each other unprotected. Not to mention that the f*ckers removed most of the packing peanuts so everything was just flopping around inside the bloody box.
The damage isn't all that bad, considering the shameful packing; some gouges on on of the side rails and around the front take-down pin hole, as well as many small blemishes in the finish. Somehow the ejector got wrecked on the way, it was pushing against the bolt hard enough to make the bolt bind in the receiver. I tried adjusting it but just cant get it not to rub on the bolt as a cycle it by hand.
Needless to say, I am not pleased with the CBSA. The damage isn't extensive, but it is a far cry from the brand new receiver that Robarm shipped me.
file a complaint... and have them pay for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
