I finally had time to get my XCR-L 6.8 SPC 1-11" twist conversion kit installed and made it to the range this morning.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the results that I got.
110gr Sierra Prohunters + 29gr H322 + Win LR primers + COL 2.240" = 2649fps average velocity = 1 1/2" 100 yard groups and definitely minute of deer/bear chest @ 200 yards.
(just called the Sierra Bulletsmith's they told me that this bullet is not designed to expand much below 2300fps which limits me to appr 125 yards max range)
There where no feeding/reliability issues of any kind I'm thinking that this isn't bad for the first trip to the range with this rifle/cartridge/load combo.
I saved the targets so will post pics of them when I get a chance...
