XCRs in 6.8

Would you like to see a bunch of 6.8s hit the Canadian market?

only the 30 rd 7.62x39 magazines are "specialty"... C Products makes those, and they are available through various c product dealers. The 10 rd 7.62x39 mags are standard, though. Available from many places.

Time for more ####.
These have also been painted with Duracoat.
The more I see and learn about these rifles, the more I like them.

Does anyone know if John can get the 5.56 top end as well so that we can have both calibres? If so, anyone have an idea on pricing?

Terra? Do you guys ship conversion kits up here too?

(Stupid question, I know.. but I would like to know)

Ya I was just wondering if the 5.56 top end would be available in kit form like the 6.8 will be.

Presumably if 6.8 got approved they would ship more 223 kits as well for those who want to switch. Hopefully Robarms gets 16" barrels, either heavy or light, approved as well, in any calibre.

Sorry, misunderstood you the 1st time. But I would try to do it the other way around & try to get one of the 5.56 rifles that are here already. Then hope & pray the 6.8 kits make it over the border. Not to be a pessimist, but I'll believe it when I see it. U.S. Government is pretty fickle...

The 5.56s have a year wait list.
The 6.8s are new as is the list.
You'll likely be waiting longer for the 5.56 than you will for the 6.8.
That's why as soon as Terra started this thread, I phoned Wolverine and changed my order to a 6.8.

Yea, but he could have meant buying XCRs on the EE.

Thank You, exactly my point. I too call Wolverine & was told about a year wait. Then I found a new one from Del Selins & Brandon set me up with a great rifle. It only cost a few bucks more but was worth cutting in front of the line, sort a speak... Buying off EE or from another dealer who ordered from Wolverine may be your other option to fast tracking an XCR if you really want one now. Not saying the sky is falling but a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.

I ordered 2 boxes of 6.8 Rem. ammo today.
It's just shy of $60 a box out here in GougeTheRube City.

The sales-lady said that there was another 6.8 Mini-14 owner in town and they're trying to get some cheap 6.8 ammo in.
Both the People in the store said it's a great little cartridge.
I just need a few rounds on hand in case the rifle comes.

I reload and I'll be doing them hot.
Once we get "The word" on our rifles I'll order brass bullets and powder, and start loading.
I'd like to have at least 200 rounds on my first XCR day.
I'll also order extra firing pins and other parts.

We are planning on sending match triggers to Canada, yes. Likely we will have to send them to distributors. Once they go into production we will know for sure where/who we're going to end up sending them to.

Is there any problem ordering a spares kit from you directly? ie. springs, pins & firing pins, buffers & a stock adapter. Love the rifle so far. Will be a dream if those kits materialize.. hint..hint.
