How did that work for classification? Does the rifle stay restricted where it originated as a handgun?I've had a few over the years, still have one receiver tucked away. Turned the others into precision rifles. - dan

No, we used to be able to get them reclassified. Then the rcmp decided that "once a restricted always a restricted". Well, at least until they make them prohibs. - danit didn't they were always a handgun i canada
Bummer. Almost had me excited here for a second. No, we used to be able to get them reclassified. Then the rcmp decided that "once a restricted always a restricted". Well, at least until they make them prohibs. - dan
Yeah, there's no logic to it. Just more government bs. - danBummer. Almost had me excited here for a second.
The XP100 was classified as a pistol and the CFC position is and always has been, once a pistol always a pistol. No possible way to have the action reclassified. It ducks because I’ve converted mine to 22 pound single shot F-class rifles, and they cannot ever be reclassified or sold. How did that work for classification? Not always. But eventually, yes, that became their position. - danThe XP100 was classified as a pistol and the CFC position is and always has been, once a pistol always a pistol.
