Right now, we're estimating December for orders placed now. Eric has let me know that Tanfoglio is creating a second assembly line due to high demand and it should get them more in line with their delivery estimates.

They want me to get it as much as I want it and as much as you want it. I will be checking in again early next week too!!
 
Hi! Spoke with the owner of Tanfoglio while here at the World Shoot personally. (Tanfoglio is the World Shoot Match Sponsor)

He says that the current late shipment (one due in April) is due this week in Halifax.

Secondly, he told me about the troubles with the delays and that he has now found a new supplier for finishing the Xtremes who does it quicker & more reliably - so he is very optimistic that the next orders will be closer to being on time.
 
I have a Waybill from Air Canada Cargo with a Halifax Delivery scheduled for tomorrow; a couple days to get guns registered and inventoried and we'll be processing transfers and shipments to dealers early next week. Note that this is for the shipment that was due in April.

Carl, your gun is in it.

Again, to all - I sincerely apologize for the delay - but the light is at the end of the tunnel!

This shipment that arrived was originally due in April; we were able to add a few guns to it while we waited, but not much.
The next one was promised from Tanfoglio for the end of December.

Which means what?....June-July-ish?;)

I've had some business dealings with Italian manufacturers (all be it in a different industry). I'm convinced they work in a parallel universe where the time-space continuum is completely different from ours.

I know right? It's just like the arsenal pistols interammo brought in or an acquaintances dealings with Caesar Guerini shotguns. Things come in on Italian time, not real world time.

Some very nice products come out of Italy but it seems they really do have issues with punctuality. My experience was in the automotive sector and I can remember having cars laid up for weeks or even months waiting for parts. of course that was 25+ years ago and they were on strike at least have the time back then.;)

Tanfoglio believes that their timelines to estimates are becoming more in line.
They have doubled the Xtreme assembly line and they have replaced an unreliable supplier for the finishes with someone who apparently delivers more reliably.
That said, I don't expect that the late December shipment will be on time. I just don't think that it will be as long a delay.
