Sorry for joking around about what must be very frustrating subject for you. I know when I was dealing with Italian suppliers many years ago I sometimes thought I was going to have a stroke. I eventually got to the point of deciding if I didn't know whether to laugh or cry I might as well laugh.

Finally after 14 months of waiting my stock 3 extreme is at the CRAFM now it is time that I transfer has my name...
What I regret the most is that I had no excuse on the part of the manufacturer and also no compensation. a single mag more would have been well enjoy!

Stock III Special Editions have nickle plating, black aluminum Tanfo. Grips and the two mags that it comes with come with black alum. basepads.
Stock IIIs are blued, have wood grips and two mags that come with them have standard flush base pads.
We have some "L"s, Force Sports and Limiteds (Hardchrome fiinish) in 40 S&W, Stock IIIs in 45ACP and some Appeal Rifles in both 22LR and 22WMR Calibers.
Tanfoglio orders tend to be sold out before they ship these days, so we're having a difficult time getting stock for the shelves.

Can you post some pics? I have the Stock III xtreme from the original run of but my buddy just got one from the latest batch and the finish is completely different from the new supplier.
How different? Better or worst?

That's a matter of preference but imo worse. Completely mat finish with no shine at all and the copper is a weird colour. Looks like a military pistol finish.

Problem is, due to the popularity of the Xtreme line and delays on delivery by Tanfoglio; that extra inventory we order is spoken for before their shipments arrived.
Someday, we hope to catch up and actually be able to say "We have that on the shelf, how many do you want today?" Very much like we do with the STI line now.

Sorry but it looks completely different. I've held the new one. It's just my personal opinion and preference. Some will undoubtedly like and prefer the new finish. I bought and use the solid brass grips not for looks but for the added weight they afford. Although I do kinda like the pimping look too. Lol.

Looks more like a dark desert sand than a copper. As I said some would definitely prefer the look but it's certainly not what was originally advertised.
