I don't know about whether they sold bare actions, but I have a Tikka 65 in .30-06 that I inherited when my grandfather passed on. He bought it new around 1979 I believe. The build quality and accuracy is incredible and it is a joy to shoot. But, I have a soft spot for a smooth action, crisp trigger, great accuracy, deep bluing and gorgeous wood.

Lucky for me, he bought a spare mag at the time as well.

I am confident that the rifle will outlast me and that I'll be passing it on to my child or grandchild someday.

I'm glad you got yours up and running again,

Adam

I loaded up 3 rounds each of 4 different handloads for my M55 in .223
4 different bullet weights
All 4 loads shot between .3" and .5"
Having a hard time deciding which load to stick with, will likely choose the 50gr SPSX, all shots touching tight vertically.

The stocks fit me well, L.O.P. is perfect, cheek rest is sweet and wood is not cold on face, Palm swell fits my large hand.
Trigger is light and crisp. The gun recoils very little. The magazines are handy. The bolt is quick and smooth. The safety is large and easy to work with gloves on. I don't have a single complaint. These rifles are underpriced.

Ya send me all your Crappie T'3s the engineering is terrible . Well let's not forget about the post 64 model 70's junk compared to the pre 64's and the new sako's the old ones far supior . Seems nothing new has any quality anymore

I never bought Tikka actions by themselves but years ago I bought barreled actions in Ruger #1 25-05'Browning Safari grade in & RM Browning (saki) vixen in 222 and some later Sako actions. A 243, 2 223's and a heavy barrel 243. I believe these were all were pre Garcia or close to 40 years ago.
