Just unpacked and wiped down my shiny new, first and only one in Canada [so far] Ruger #1 in 9.3x62 :)

Clay and crew just shipped me my import Ruger No.1-A in .223... search for years on this side of the border with no luck... should be in my hands by Tuesday... scope is sitting in offset rings just aching to be mounted... just last week got my second No.1 RSI .243 (another PR import) after I foolishly sold the first... it was one of those situations where the money no sooner hits your palm and you think; "what the heck did I do that for?"

Now I have a difficult choice of what to do with them, current thinking is I will scope the x74 with a new 2-7 Burris thats sitting on my shelf and leave the x62 as an iron sighted shooter. I also have a .458WM that I shoot with irons and I can put three under 2 inches at 100 yds. My #1 45-70 has a 1-4 vx2 and my RSI 06 a1.75-6x along with a stainless laminate 1B 25-06 with a 3.5-10 VX3 for the real long shots.

If 'junior" is the x62 we all know it can run faster than 'senior' the x74 just not as classy.

I considered an RSI Bob... but with the RSI .243 & RSI 7X57, it wasn't a pressing need... a No.1-S Whelen is next on my hit list...

So you have a Wagner and a Flanged Wagner? Well played sir!

Hope I am not post poaching, but there was a lack of pic's...and I had to show my new to me today acquisition.
A Ruger No. 1 Tropical in 375 Weatherby with rings, 29 Remington factory 375 H & H rd's, 7 fireformed and reloaded rd's ( have to break them down, just the way it is), probably 40 fired Rem brass and Redding 375 W dies. Apparently it's got a 'Mercury recoil reducer' installed, that'll be a google search later.
While the picture is not too good it's in beautiful shape, nary a scratch to steel or wood.
And the price was quite easy to stomach as well.
This is two Ruger No. 1's now; I've got a 1B in 7mm Rem Mag too.

Nice! Love these limited runs.
Perhaps a limited run of Rem 7600s, like the ones Grice do from time to time... 7mm08, 260Rem, 358Win :)

Any idea who did the rechamber?

Here are my two current RSI's... .243 Win is a PR import, and the 7X57 is new from PR, both wearing Leupold VX-2 3-9X33mm Ultralights;

And a few others... (No.1-A in .30/30 & 7X57 and No.1-S in .45/70 & 9.3X74R);
