So a buddy directed me to reliable gun in Vancouver, (they rock btw), and they had Remington yellow jackets in stock. So I bought 4 bricks hahah anyway, does anyone know if they are making this again?

Piss-poor; they would cut the scalp, and bounce of the head of a raccoon back when we hunted them.

Hmm interesting, I never had any of these issues, never shot a racoon with one though so I really can't comment. I built a 10/22 and it eats them without fail. Smashes gophers like no tomorrow. I've lost touch with what's dirty or not, for 22 I think it's all dirty. But I dont take my gun apart till like 1000 rds

It was one of the only ammo brands my wife's ISSC pistol would reliably feed during its break in period. As such it has a warm place in my heart because a grumpy wife with FTF every other round is not conducive to garnering her support for my firearms habit.

Ive never had issues with them. They werent very accurate but for banging cans around the farm they worked. I dont think they ever stopped making them though. They were always available even through the obama ammo crisis

I still have a brick at home. They shoot great out of my 64F & 597. Yes they are dirty, however the trade off is they hit hard! I do agree that Velocitors are superior but I LOVE they ole Yellowjackets!

Is everyone having feed issues or accuracy?

I also shoot velocitors and mini mags but to be honest I don't notice any extra carbon build up

I always had good luck with them out of the 6 22s I've owned over the years, especially an old mossberg 351K semi I had. They were the most reliable feeding (other than CCI mini mags) and more accurate than any other 22 ammo, out of that rifle. I shot alot of groundhogs, and 7 or 8 fox anywhere from around 35 yds out to about 80 yds, all of which were headshots
