Yet another example of beaurocratic politically correct idiocy

The problem is they want to 'study' everything when anyone with a modicum of common sense would see the situation ( wolves increasing to the point of decimating the caribou herd to the point of wiping them out, which inevitably results in the wolves starving,or turning to domestic animals) and conclude the obvious solution would be to reduce the number of wolves.....not rocket science...

Is this not the way of nature, the herbivores move to an area multiply, the carnivores follow the herbivores, the carnivores eat the herbivores. Carnivores numbers increase, herbivore numbers decrease. And at a tipping point the opposite happens carnivore numbers fall and the herbivores numbers increase until a balance point is found. Obviously the herbivore numbers where to large and now it is the opposite, nothing wrong here just nature taking it's course.

Once again it's clear you have no clue about wildlife. The carnivores don't stop, they keep moving to another area and another area. Then they fight and eat each other. Only then do their numbers decrease. And this is a very , very long process, it doesn't happen within a year or two.

Also, wolves kill for fun, then abandon the carcass.

Remember when you said predators only kill sick, weak or old? So funny. You have no actual knowledge of wildlife and wildlife behaviour.

Looks like they are going again - the same MNR Aerostar and a contract Hughes 212 at the airport this afternoon but no net gun Hughes 500 yet. Neighbor told me they are going to attempt a second transplant with the caribou going to Caribou island in the eastern basin of lake Superior this time.
