So, you are selling off your guns in a fictional scenario to fund dream hunts (a common theme for me as I like the hunting more than the guns), what would your battery look like? You can only have three in it, and that includes your shotgun(s). This is what life is like in South Africa and Zimbabwe for most folks largely too and not by choice, hope we don't go there rule wise but I digress. No answers of "wouldn't do it" as then this thread just isn't for ya.
Preferably, choosing from among guns you already own.
For me, it would be the following, I could go down to them without putting any crimp in my hunting:
-Ruger RSM .375 H&H (if I hadn't built personal history with the RSM, it would likely be my Model 70 stainless .375 H&H, just more versatile in weather)
-Ruger Gold Label 12ga
-Ruger No.1 Stainless RSI .250 Savage (tough to edge out my 7x57 Mauser Oberndorf, but it doesn't mount a scope)
Of course, I enjoy more and have nicer guns than these that I like to use, but I could do without them. Your list?
