It'll be 2k US, about 5k CDN by the time it makes it up here guaranteed.

Then tag on the 3K$ for the dealer fee + $2k for delivery (Dangertree will personally deliver it to your door, and airfair is expensive) then there is the obicuous "what the hell" fee which can add another 2-3K$ to the price, oh I almost forgot... the stock is extra, so add about 1.5K$ for that an another 2K for the barrel extension to make the rifle go from 18.5" to 37-5/16" (it's a new process, rather than shortenning longer barrels, short barrels are extended by welding on some steel tubing)

Bottom line the rifle will come at a cost of about 14.5K$ :stirthepot2::D

The HK G3 uses a 17.7 inch barrel, and the G3K uses a 12.4 inch barrel.

And yet the RFB is still 2 inches shorter than the G3K with collapsed stock.

.308/7.62 was a lot cheaper back in 1959 when the HK G3 was adopted ;)

the 18, 18.5 etc do look cool. For me I like the better ballistics of the longer barrels, and hopefully extra accuracy with a bull barrel. Considering the cost of good .308 ammo these days (yes even if you reload), I like it to fly and be accurate. I'm greedy that way. :).

Did I miss the Magazine part? FAL Metric mags are under $10 each...sometimes as low as $5. Are we going to get ####ed over and get gouged $60 a mag?? If so, Forget it.

Walt - I DEMAND cheap mags, and an even cheaper gun. Why do you feel the need to gouge the customers? WE pay your salary, you know? Tough crowd is right.

This will be one of the coolest rifles to hit the shelves in years! The Tavor and T97 really don't do it for me at all... I can't WAIT to blast away with this thing.
