Considering the DPMS mags were going for $75 when you could even get them, and the Armalite mags were $85. I'd be willing to pay more than $10 for a RFB mag ;)

New kel-tec rfb .308

2 HRS ago, I started reading from 12/28/08, finishing 02/10/09...

THIS IS HANDS DOWN, THE COOLEST THREAD THAT I HAVE READ
ON THE INTERNET, TOO DATE!!! :runaway:

Before I got to this awsome site, I first read about this in,
SPECIAL WEAPONS For Military & Police, AUG/SEPT 2008.

This issue also features a German bullpup, the AMP DSR No 1 .338 LAPUA MAG

If you go to: special-weapons-magazine.com

You can read a bit about the KEL-TEC RFB .308, as well as the German DSR...
Just type the full KEL-TEC title in the search, and below that, is the article
and killer picture of the AMP DSR No 1.

Newbie , sorry I didn't use all the space provided.

I guess a better link would be: tactical-life.com Thank you! :D

It has an optional lefty-bolt. It's an extra 200$, but on a 3000$ gun... The type 97, AFAIK, doesn't have such an option.

That's only in theory because none of those bolts have made it in the country so far.

I missed that one. I did buy the one after with the DSR-1 copy. The Desert Tactical. Nice rifle.

Did they do any accuracy tests on the Kel-Tec? I'm curious to find out if this thing will hold it's own against my AR-10 rifles. Accuracy is big for me, even for this type of rifle.

Sorry I didn't read the whole post.
but... Obviously there is not really any point of putting on a standard set of BUIS, the rail is so short.
Is the only option a red dot?

Any word on cheap mags yet :)

Unsubstantiated rumors on the net, are that they won't be arriving at dealers until summer. But who knows. There's lots of BS on the net.

Looks like the RFB is now shipping in the States. The guys on the ar15 and KTOG forums are starting to get them in their dirty little hands. Lucky bastards!!

It won`t be long now. In the mean time, check out this thread (http://www.ktog.org/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1236057130/15) on the KTOG forum. Some guy wants one so bad he`s raggin` on the owner of Kel-Tec.

I just got on here, I thought Bullpups aren`t allowed?

you have alot more reading to do :p

Also I think that I want one of these rifles... something about a full sized rifle in a carbine length package suggests an excellent zombie control device.
