Armseast is still working on getting US DOS approval for export to civilian end users. If you go to KTOG forum they are selling for 1400-1500 US from dealers. I would think it would cost around the 1900-2100 mark here. The Tavor is cheap to make but IWI is marking them up huge to CanAm.

Yep, gotta love how a gun that looks cool justifies a $3k price tag. At least the SA is extremely accurate and reliable. I hope the fact this gun is a bullpup semi doesn't give them the idea to charge much more than markup. I know, I live in a dream world eh?

Walt has already indicated it will be around the $2K mark. I don't think importers mark up guns as much as you think. Mark-up needs to pay the bills -it's not straight profit!

Since the moderators decided to keep this thread running, let's be very clear with the RCMP, CFC and CBSA officials who are reading; the Kel-Tec RFB is a SPORTING, HUNTING and TARGET rifle. Got that ?

Not passive-aggressive enough.

Not bad to point out, but I do not see any confusion on this one. This rifle was manufactured from the get-go as a civilian sporting rifle, there is no military version. The FRT people have had a couple of chances at least to give these the go over, take photos, etc. They are what they are, an innovative 308.

Amen... now wheres my gun? :D

Walt - has there been any updated timelines WRT this? Is the hold-up more from the KelTec production side, or is it the export/import permits that are taking forever?

I hope my name is near the top of the waiting list.... this will be an INSTANT purchase for me! :)

Ditto Too here Walt, I have enough sitting HERE for it (lol I hope), How can I make sure I get in on that first shipment?

Good... and can we please point out that it was designed from the ground up as a semi-auto rifle. There are NO full-auto parts existing and never will be. It has never been and never will be, possible to fire it in FA mode. point.
Now carry on with the import and sales.
Thanks :D
